These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the website skincancercheckup.com (hereinafter 'DermCheck') operated by Philipp Schmid, Steinenberg 10, 88339 Bad Waldsee, Germany. By using the website, you accept these terms.
DermCheck offers the following services:
DermCheck expressly does NOT provide a medical diagnosis. The AI analysis and dermatologist reviews serve solely as risk assessments and do not replace a doctor's visit. If you suspect skin cancer or other diseases, seek medical attention immediately. DermCheck assumes no liability for health decisions based on the assessments provided.
A paid contract is formed when you book a dermatologist review after the AI analysis and successfully complete payment via Stripe. Confirmation is sent by email.
The AI analysis is free. For professional dermatologist reviews, the prices displayed at the time of ordering apply (Standard: €19.90, Premium: €39.90). All prices are final prices including VAT. Payment is made exclusively through the payment service provider Stripe.
Payment processing is handled via Stripe Checkout. Common payment methods (credit card) are accepted. DermCheck does not store payment data — this is processed exclusively by Stripe.
Since the dermatologist review is a digital service whose execution begins with your explicit consent before the expiry of the withdrawal period, your right of withdrawal expires upon commencement of service provision. You will be expressly informed of this before placing your order.
Registered dermatologists can review skin lesions via the physician portal. Compensation is €2.00 per review and is paid out via Stripe Connect. Minimum payout amounts and further details are displayed in the physician dashboard. DermCheck reserves the right to reject or revoke physician registrations.
DermCheck is not liable for damages resulting from the use or non-use of the information provided — in particular not for health consequences attributable to a failure to consult a physician or delayed medical consultation. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction, insofar as legally permissible, is Bad Waldsee. Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
